Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK)

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) was established in 2008 under Act No. 30 of 2008 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. It emerged as an autonomous entity from the erstwhile JNTU Hyderabad, following the trifurcation of the university. Its roots trace back to the College of Engineering, Vizagapatnam, founded in 1946, making it one of the oldest engineering institutions in South India.

Headquartered in the vibrant port city of Kakinada, the university is spread over 100 acres, housing modern academic blocks, laboratories, libraries, hostels, and sports facilities.
